UI needs work

Ive struggled to figur out the UI for this app. Its not something to just pickup and start using. Ive tried the pen, the keyboard and the handwriting, all of which seem to work very differently and not very intuitively. I draw a half note, I get a whole note. I enter an E (in f minor) and I get an Eb (i.e., no natural sign was inserted).

I think there is a lot of functionality here, but I also think its not easily accessed. And the documentation is entirely out of date, clearly showing a version prior to the "flattening" of the UI.
